"You can't pour from an empty cup," they say. And they're right—whoever they are. Here's my decaf, in a mug that was a gift from my dear friend, Vidya. I was sitting outside this morning thinking about my social media feeds, which I visit for under 30 minutes (total!) a day. They've been filled with stress and distress. Sadness. Outrage. We aren't any good to anyone else if we're not resourced—if we don't prioritize our own well-being. Whatever that looks like for you, please put yourself at the top of your list today.
